Wedding insurance cover

Wedding insurance consists of several coverages:

  • Cancellation
If your wedding has to be unexpectedly cancelled, interrupted or rescheduled, this cover ensures that you are reimbursed for the costs incurred.
  • Absence of persons
This is additional cover you can add to the cancellation cover. If the wedding has to be moved or cancelled because a bride or groom, a best man or a first or second-degree relative falls ill, has an accident or dies, you will be reimbursed for all expenses incurred.
  • Bad weather
This is additional cover that can be added to the cancellation cover. If the wedding has to be interrupted or relocated due to extreme weather, you will be reimbursed for the costs incurred.
Is your wedding taking place outdoors? Then the insurance applies if a code orange or red is in place. For weddings taking place indoors, there must be a code red in place.
  • Wedding clothes and gifts
If wedding clothes or wedding gifts are damaged, you will be reimbursed for the cost.
  • Equipment
If items or electronics are damaged at or in connection with your wedding, you will be reimbursed. This cover applies at the party venue and during transport, prior to, during and after your wedding.
  • Accidents
This cover ensures that medical expenses are reimbursed, or benefits are paid to the individual or next of kin if an accident occurs during the wedding. This cover applies for all guests:
  • Damage to the venue
If the wedding venue is damaged on the wedding day, the damage will be reimbursed. This could include a window breaking, or stains on the floor caused by confetti.

What is wedding insurance?

NoRisk Element

Getting married? Then you know that organising a wedding involves a lot of planning. You organise everything down to the last detail, hoping your big day will be perfect.

But no matter how well-prepared you are, things can always go wrong. The last thing you want is to postpone your wedding due to an unexpected event. Or to see your beautiful wedding dress damaged on the dance floor.

While we can’t take away the disappointment, we can cover the financial setback. That’s what wedding insurance is for.
