What to do in the event of a damage claim?

Contact with No Risk

In the case of damage, please email schade@norisk.eu and provide the following information:

  • What happened, what was damaged, when, who did it, etc.? (Please attach photos if you have them.)
  • Any invoices of rent if it involves damage to a rented property.
  • Any repair invoices.

Damage caused by motor vehicles is not covered but must be reported to the third-party insurer of that vehicle.

After the first notification

  • We carry out an initial assessment and may contact you to discuss the matter further.
  • We report the damage to the insurer. We will send you and any representative a confirmation that the case has been registered.
  • We also discuss with the insurer whether it is a good idea to engage a loss adjuster. In the event that loss adjustment is necessary, a loss adjuster will contact you and/or the injured party.

After receiving all the relevant information and a loss adjuster's report, as appropriate, the insurer will rule on whether or not you bear liability, and on the coverage and any payout.

We monitor the entire claim process, answer any questions and ensure that the claim processing is as quick and correct as possible. Of course, we will keep you informed of the current status. We are not kept informed of medical matters, due to privacy laws.

If you have any further questions, you can of course always contact us by telephone: +31 (0) 20 225 00 69.
