Our history

You may have come across us at a festival in the early years and remember us from our J&H days. Maybe you were once a Klap customer, or maybe you only know the name DSV. We understand that it can be a bit complicated with all these mergers and different names.

Launch of No Risk On Set

In 2014, we launched No Risk On Set, and started focusing on film insurance as well. The Netherlands Film Fund informed us at that time that there was a need for a Dutch insurance party for the film industry, and so we decided to focus on that. We were the first party in the Netherlands with which film makers could take out any insurance they might need - and we still are! We also partnered with On Set Finance, a company that provides cash-flow loans to film productions.

Klap No Risk

In 2020, No Risk partnered with insurance broker Klap, the other major provider of event insurance in the Netherlands. Our name became Klap No Risk, and we focused solely on insuring events and film productions.
 

Moving forward together with DSV

In 2023, we then became part of Yellow Hive. We were merged with the entertainment division of DSV, and our name changed back to No Risk. DSV had specialised in insuring the film and television world for many years, as well as being the provider of instrument insurance for musicians and equipment insurance for photographers.

Together, we are a perfect match. We now have all the knowledge under one roof, offering insurance for the entire event, entertainment and film industry.

We are now truly the one-stop insurance shop for the entire entertainment industry!
