Here’s how it all started, why we’re so committed to supporting organisers every day, and how we help make sure their events run smoothly and stress-free.

How it started: stepping into the events world

From the beginning, we had strong ties to the events scene. What we saw was a gap — too many festivals and organisers were underinsured, or not insured at all. The insurance options simply didn’t reflect the real-life needs and risks of event production. That’s why we launched No Risk in 2008: to make it possible for organisers to safely and confidently insure their events.

From day one, we were part of the world we were insuring. We visited festivals, spoke to organisers, and got to know the industry inside and out. That gave us the insights we needed to build insurance products that actually worked for them — tailored to the real risks of live events.

Growing alongside the industry

The events sector has grown rapidly in the past decade — in both size and professionalism. And we’ve grown right along with it. Where the industry was once more informal and small-scale, it’s now a mature, professional field. We’ve been part of that evolution from the start, constantly developing our expertise along the way.

Today, we insure thousands of events worldwide — from major names like Lowlands, Pinkpop, ADE, Pride Amsterdam and Awakenings to street festivals, corporate events, and weddings. And the application process is now easier than ever. Organisers can calculate their premium, apply for coverage, and often receive their policy within a single working day — all online. It’s fast, hassle-free, and gives organisers peace of mind so they can focus on what really matters.
